Bear-Buddy

It has been a year since we brought our rescue dog Bear to Shawn at Best Buddy Dog Training, where he was truly rescued. Bear was certainly severely mistreated by his original owner, and was approximately 4 years old when we got him from a local rescue. He was terrified of everything, would not let us touch him, come to us, or go for walks. Shawn took Bear in and taught him to trust people. He was a special case, and spent several months at Best Buddy. When Shawn brought him back to us, and taught us how to take care of him, he was firmly on the road to becoming a normal pet! Now this once-feral little rescue dog loves to go for walks, takes treats from our hands, plays with our other three dogs, dances in circles when it's meal time, lets us pet and groom him, and comes when he is called. Every week he makes a little more progress. I never thought we could save this pup, and we owe it all to Shawn. This was the best investment we ever made in a pet. When Bear came back home to us, we renamed him Buddy. Thank you, Shawn!
